TashTail Film Productions was founded in 2017 by Rob Foulkes and Ryan Mulvey, after graduating in Film Production and Performance together at University of Salford.
Over the years we have had the privilege to work on hundreds of projects, producing a wide variety of media in varying styles, genres, and lengths.
Our work has won film festival selection, contributed to securing six-figure sales deals, helped charity and community initiatives achieve their goal, and helped actors to secure agents and work.
We always work tirelessly to realise the client's vision, and together we have had the pleasure of producing hundreds of videos and films in a variety of different styles and genres. Many projects are produced by us from scratch, and we have consulted on large scale marketing campaigns.
Our combined experience in the arts gives us crucial insight in to working with actors and crew to achieve desired results. Our mission is to tell stories, and our drive is to always learn and improve with every project we create, striving to make the best product possible.

rob foulkes
creative & technical director
Rob has been producing film and media for over a decade and has written and directed award-winning short films that have played at film festivals across the U.K and Europe.
A versatile creative, he brings a wealth of practical skills and experience to TashTail, with previous job roles including theatre technician, bar manager, painter & decorator, and admin officer.
Always following his creativity, Rob has previously acted on stage and screen in dozens of main roles across the Midlands and North West. A keen musician and songwriter, Rob has also formed bands and performed solo across the U.K, including singing at the Royal Albert Hall in a musicals medley show.
Rob has an MA in T.V Drama Production. He also has a dozen cats to feed!
ryan mulvey
creative & sales director
A skilled director with a keen eye for framing and working with talent in-front of the camera, Ryan has directed several well-received short films.
After serving in the British Army and rising to become an instructor, Ryan decided to follow his creative pursuits, enrolling at University of Salford. First as an actor and then as a director, he has excelled and produced many creative and technical projects.
As an actor, Ryan has created and performed in dozens of plays at venues across the North West, including the Manchester Fringe Festival. As part of his work with TashTail, Ryan has created workshops for acting for camera to help budding actors create a strong show reel and secure future work.
As a director, Ryan has had the pleasure of seeing his films screened at HOME cinema.
